With all the material and hardware applications available, where do you start?
You start with C&M Door Controls, of course!
Proper door and hardware specifications start with a field survey of existing conditions, if the material is to be retrofitted, or a properly prepared door schedule for new construction. There are a multitude of choices available today in materials, construction, and hardware that more than meet any application's needs, whether it is for light, medium, or heavy-duty usage, indoor or out. Our job is to know what's available, determine what's right for your particular application, and make sure you don't get sold a bill of goods that is either over- or under-specified for your needs.

C&M Door specifies and installs the right door and hardware package for your application... each time, every time!
In the course of over 30 years of experience in the door and hardware industry throughout New Jersey and Metropolitan New York, we've learned what works and what doesn't. Problems due to non-standard wall sizes and constructions, openings subject to wind-load conditions, and abrasive atmospheres (common in chemical producing and public works facilities) are just a few of the surprises you may encounter if your materials aren't specified or installed correctly. Trust us to know what's best for your application! Our product line includes:

FRP Doors and Frames
FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) products offer trouble-free performance and long-lasting beauty in the most challenging interior and exterior entrance applications. A perfect application for schools, water treatment plants, institutional kitchens, and clean rooms, FRP doors are remarkably durable, energy efficient, weatherproof, can withstand heavy traffic, abuse, or adverse environmental conditions, and continue to look like new for many years. Unlike metal or wood doors, they will never rust, corrode, crack, split, peel, or rot.

Architectural Aluminum Products
Extruded aluminum doors and frames are similar in structural appearance to formed stainless or bronze doors. Aluminum extrusions are of course used in place of formed metal, and stiles are internally fastened to top and bottom rails during fabrication.

Flush aluminum doors offer architects and engineers a number of choices, including face sheet thickness (normally .040", .063", or .0.90"), texture (smooth or vertical-ribbed), finishes (clear or dark bronze anodize, ESP painted, or powder coated) and designs to meet every architectural need.

Aluminum doors are best suited wherever highly corrosive atmospheric conditions prevail. They are extensively used in water and sewage treatment plants, service stations, toll plazas, bridge houses, public utilities and armed forces facilities. They are also perfect for public and commercial buildings, schools, and retail establishments.

Hollow Metal Doors and Frames
Hollow metal doors and frames have long been the "workhorse" of the industry. Available with a cardboard honeycomb or solid-slab polystyrene core for interior, medium duty use, or a steel-rib stiffened and insulated core for exterior or heavy duty use, hollow metal doors and frames can be manufactured in a variety of sizes, shapes, and gauges for any application. Hollow metal is best known for its durability and functionality for commercial and institutional projects and can carry UL ratings of 3 hour, 1-1/2 hour, and 3/4 hour fire labels.

Wood Doors
The character and natural beauty of wood adds both a warmth and ambience to a room that is unmatched by any other material. Whether it is the rustic appeal of pine, or the formal nature of cherry or mahogany, solid natural wood doors add timeless beauty to any setting. Wood doors are manufactured in both solid slab and stile-and-rail deigns in a number of different wood choices, including oak, maple, poplar, cherry, hickory, alder, pine, walnut or other species of your choice. Wood doors are normally specified for classroom and interior school doors and office buildings.
